Topics can align with one or more of the conference tracks:

Latest tech advancements: Explore the technical improvements and innovations in iDempiere latest 12th version. We will cover advancements in system architecture, scalability, and performance optimizations. Training and documentation related to the latest improvements to maximize iDempiere potential.

Improving UX/UI: With the new Iceblue theme, focusing on user experience became even more relevant. We’ll discuss intuitive interfaces of business applications, navigation, better core components, accessibility, and optimized workflows transforming user productivity and ease of use in data management.

Leveraging AI capabilities: Explore AI initiatives within the community and discuss pathways for integrating AI into the platform. Share ongoing projects, discuss expectations, and envision AI’s role in enhancing iDempiere’s capabilities.

Frontend with iDempiere: Explore separated frontend and backend development. Learn how to leverage a strong business data model, effective frontend guidelines, headless principles, and RestAPI. Discover real-world use cases.

Sales-Free Zone: Presentations should be informative and educational, not sales pitches. Submissions that appear promotional or intended to advertise products or services will not be accepted.
How to prepare?
Presentation format

Standard presentations are 30-45 minutes, followed by a Q&A session. Please propose a format that fits within this time frame.

Panel discussions, case studies, and interactive workshops are welcome. If your topic suits a different format, please specify.

Avoid jargon and focus on what attendees will gain from your session.

Include a quick bio that highlights your expertise and experience relevant to your topic.

Consider the needs and interests of our diverse audience, which includes developers, business users, system administrators, and community contributors.

Proposal deadline and process​​

Write a proposal of 150-300 words describing what your session will cover, the learning outcomes for attendees, and why it’s relevant.​​​​

Please submit your topic proposal through our online form by 13th of December, 2024.

Accepted speakers will be notified by e-mail within a few days after submission deadline. They will get the discount code that can be used at ticket purchase.

How long are the sessions?General sessions are 45 minutes and may include 10-15 minutes for audience Q&A. If you need a longer time to present, please be specific when submitting.

What permissions do I need to present?Ensure you have explicit permission to share your company/client information, or at what level is appropriate to share. Proposing a session without permission is grounds for session cancellation.

Will my session be recorded?Yes! We’re planning on recording all of the sessions. We will also provide captioning and transcriptions for all recorded sessions. If you do not want your session to be recorded, please let us know in advance.

When will accepted sessions be announced?Many sessions (but not all) will be accepted on a rolling basis. This means you are more likely to get your session accepted, if you submit it early!

How can I help improve my session’s visibility in the community?Once you’ve submitted a session, promote it! Community comments help our selection teams better know what our attendees are interested in seeing at the iDempiere world conference.
